Recently had my daughter’s 16th birthday party here. The food was absolutely AMAZING!! We had the BBQ chicken, chicken Alfredo, green beans and Mac and cheese. All of the guests were very satisfied with the assortment of food and beverages. We had roughly 34 guests and we all fit comfortably inside with room to spare. Can I put another star on service? Five isn't enough. The staff is great, across the board. Very very customer-centric. And Riardo's is a Bar and Grill, but I'd take Nona there np at all. Plenty of parking, even on busy nights. The food was better than I expected, and I expected it to be very good, at least, from the other reviews. Allow me to explain... Riardo's has widescreens throughout the place. You walk in the door and get greeted and seated, if there for dinner. If you want the bar, it's a nice one. Facing a line of TVs and a nice selection of beers on tap. The floor leading back to the dining area is along a beautifully finished wooden floor. This is a "guy" thing. It's not peel and stick or some new floor, it's an old original wood floor with a poly coating. I bring that up because, I like a nice bar floor. But this review is about the food, and the food was so tasty. The waitress took the order, gave us plenty of time, was, like, "nice". You know how sometimes it's almost as if the waitress is acting like someone who has to talk to you because the manager is watching so you get the impression she really doesn't care what you think of the nice weather today? These wait-staff are very good at talking to the customer. They'll tell you about the menu, specials, what tastes good (entree) with what sides. I got the chicken Marsala. Highly recommend. The wine sauce was more of a glace' than a gravy. Glossy and deeply and richly colored and full of flavor, as well as sliced portabello. Wife got the fried haddock, which was also great. The haddock was served steaming hot. It had to have just come out of the fry. The breading sealed the fish so although it was fully cooked and seriously hot, it was also perfectly juicy and tender. All the sides were so good I'm not going to mention them, other than, since the wife and I got four different side dishes between us, and each side nailed it as far as size, temp, flavor, then I'm going to assume all the sides are this good. The clientele was friendly. Again, I'd bring the family here no issues at all. The menu prices were great as well. I did not think "it better be good at this price!" when ordering. I was thinking "these are good prices, and people say the food is so good?". The food was good. Great. Exemplary. (also, the red skinned mashed were perfect with the chicken Marsala. You can't get a pasta as included side with the dinners unless pasta is part of the meal) I recommend Riardo's as highly as I can. I do not foresee ever getting mediocre food here. And the bar looks like a great place to eat a pizza or wings drinking a draft by yourself or with friends .

I was in New Castle, PA and had the opportunity to dine at Riardo’s Bar & Grill. When you walk in you are greeted to the classic neighborhood bar & grill. This is definitely a place that the locals go. We were greeted pleasantly by the hostess, that seated us quickly. The seating options are tables, booths or at the bar. Our waitress got our drink order and brought us the menus. The menu is classic comfort food that never disappoints. After perusing the menu,we placed our orders. I decided on the BBQ burger, & pretzel bites. I must say I very much enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, a nice Saturday evening crowd with a relaxed vide. Our meals were out in a timely manner, which is always appreciated. The burger was out-of-this world, I absolutely savored each bite. The pretzel bits were also amazing, truly cooked a prepared to perfection. I had an awesome dining experience here, I strongly recommend that you give this place a try.
