Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The food was delicious, and service was great. Started with appetizers (highly recommend trying the River City Pearls) and each had a meal. Good sized portions and reasonable prices. Parking was easy, we were lucky to find street parking right in front, but there is a parking lot right across the street.

Stopped by on a Monday, was not busy. Service was great, ordered elotes corn dip, very good, nice twist on nachos. Grilled catfish was great, Texas grilled cheese also was very good. Burger was pretty good! Good selection on menu with some items different from traditional bar food. Place was clean and nice inside.

Fantastic food, drinks and service. We’ve had several things off the menu and dined when the have the Prime Rib dinners. Extremely happy with each visit and will be going back again and again.
