Riverside Family Restaurant 7

Very disappointed today Let me preface this by saying that I am a regular at this location. The food is tasty and the prices are reasonable. Well, some of that changed today. While the food and prices were ok, the service (for the first time) was horrible. We decided to stop in for lunch with a couple of family members. In fairness, with the crowd size, it probably wasn't a good idea. Our waitress greeted us like she had regretted her life choices. We usually order the same thing and today wasn't any different. The bottom line was that she wasn't attentive by any stretch of the imagination. She never asked if we wanted more coffee or beverages. We had to stop her and ask for anything that we needed. She never asked us anything, and yet was very attentive to the surrounding tables. The food came out at different times. She just kind of set the food down without saying a word. I didn't realize it until I got home, but I never even receive any rolls with my dinner. Look, I realize that every one has an off day, (I personally think there was something else that came into play);but if that was the case,that off day should have not only affected us, it should have been that same experience with all of our surrounding tables! I reluctantly left her a tip (probably shouldn't have) but I didn't want to give back the same energy that she gave us. I'm not saying that we won't be back because it it usually a good as well as a pleasant experience, but having said this, there are always other options! 🤔

Shrimp salad for my husband and salmon with 2 sides for me. I now recommend the cottage cheese and applesauce.

Nice family restaurant. Good food, reasonable prices.
