Rizzo’s is such an authentic Middle Eastern/Mediterranean spot and I can’t recommend it enough! The flavors are rich and homemade, the portions are very generous, and the prices are very affordable. Everything I tried was delicious. But honestly, what makes it extra special is the owner and staff. It feels like eating in someone’s home, the kind of place where you instantly feel taken care of. Interesting menu and food, the strawberry juice was delicious, and the shawarma was pretty good too. The food has a very unique taste and sauces, and can be on the expensive side but all around good. The restaurant was very clean, and the kitchen was clean. the staff has a no nonsense attitude but they’re friendly and polite.

Nastiest Shawarma I've ever had. This place wouldn't survive in MI. I ordered two shwarmas. Based on the picture I assumed it was fries that comes with it even asked both the phone guy and the guy in person. Noticed I was charged for additional fries and the shwarmas are already $15.99 for what looks like a toasted burrito shell full of microwaved chicken. This is nowhere near what a shwarmas is, the bread is all wrong. I cannot believe we paid $40 for such a lazy execution. The vibe when ordering was so strange that I truly felt this was going to be a mistake to order. It really was. The most expensive and underwhelming "Mediterranean" food I've ever had. Completely white washed and poorly made. They don't care at this place, I'd avoid. Luckily, this was a past through when traveling across states. Oh, the inside decor was pretty decent to sit in..
