I have to admit, I wasn’t super impressed with this place at first. I was in town visiting my daughter and her boyfriend, we ordered on DoorDash and my daughter’s boyfriend added steak to his order. We got the food delivered, and when he took his order out, he went through everything and found a single piece of steak, and no shrimp, it looked like it was all veggies. I called the store, they said give them 20 mins and I could come pick up the additional steak, I didn’t even mention the missing shrimp. I got to the restaurant 22 mins after making my call fully expecting to be in and out, so I brought my daughter’s roommates dog with us. I went inside the store, and was told that the cook said he added steak to the order and that it was under the rice. I knew this wasn’t possible because I saw the order myself. They told me they would be me the side of steak. I will say the people I encountered were nice, but I started to get irritated, 5, 10, 15 mins after the order was supposed to be completed and it finally came out. More than anything I was annoyed because the dog was sitting in the car itself this entire time. As I was walking to my car, I realized the bag felt heavy. Once in the car I opened the bag to realize why it took so long, they didn’t just give me a side a steak, they remade the entire meal. That was going above and beyond and I was truly grateful for the extra customer service. This place completely redeemed itself.
