Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Went here last night for a date. This was the first time either one of us has visited and were looking forward to a new experience. We did not know it was self seating and the guy who took our order seemed annoyed after we told him we wanted to eat there and not bring it to go. The overall attitude of the staff was not very welcoming or accommodating and we seemed like an inconvenience to them. The food was pretty good as well as the sweet tea. Probably will not visit again based on atmosphere.

I've been looking to find a reasonable spot to eat after the gym and I got chicken souvlaki which is suppose to be like a skewer situation. But it ended up just being chunks of chicken thrown in a box with a quarter of a tomato and one segment of bellpepper. Flavor and texture of the chicken itself was great. It came with the best hummus and pita bread. The bread was heavily seasoned, which I loved, but I wondered how many other people would be okay with how much rosemary they used. But for me it was the highlight of my meal. The service? Sucked. They guy was very short with me and not pleasant to speak to. No pleasantries what-so-ever even after giving him plenty. All this for a $20 plate of mostly disappointment. I won't be returning.

The food here is good but the owner has an attitude and a huge chip on his shoulder like he’s doing you a favor to take your order. I’ve been going for years because it’s convenient. The awful customer service has finally drawn a line in the sand that I will not cross again. Too many other good food options around with far better customer service.
