Overall great experience. Staff is friendly, prompt, very family friendly environment. My only complaint is the gravy wasn’t the traditional breakfast gravy. The potato’s were delicious. Would definitely eat here again.

My husband and I visited the original downtown location and the new one many times over the years and it was always fantastic. We visited again today and from the moment we sat down it was a bad experience. Our waitress had an attitude when she poured our water. Then we asked if the table could be wiped because there was dried up egg on it. Attitude again. She then took our drink order. We both ordered a cocktail. My husband’s came out quick but after 15 minutes, still no drink for me. We asked (when we had to flag her down) and she said I never ordered it. I said yes I did, repeated it back, and she showed me a blacked out toast tab device. She then argued with me about it. Our food came out pretty quick but was not hot at all. The potatoes were so burnt on the vegan slinger and there was no flavor in any of the dish. The “toast” was a soggy piece of bread. I doused some hot sauce on it to see if that would help and it didn’t. My husband’s brisket slinger looked like dog food and he also said his was not good either. The lemon crepe had next to no lemon curd. Our server only checked on us one time to ask if my husband wanted another drink. My house bloody that finally showed up was disgusting. Something in it tasted rotten. My husband went to find the manager to tell them about our experience and he was polite enough to take care of the bill. It’s so sad how downhilll Rooster has gone. We saw the mixed reviews but thought we should give it a shot. Never again.

I will def be back here. My girlfriend ordered the stuffed French toast and the bite I tried was oh so good. I had ordered the pork slinger. Let me tell you I cannot wait to go back and get more food...the drinks were good too the chocolate bar mocha and the matcha mint both good for what they are. recommend but larger people the chairs aren't the comfiest, next time I'll be on the bench maybe lol.
