I discovered Roots Coffeehouse by chance, I was dropping off some things at my new storage unit and needed a place to eat. The atmosphere feels like a comfy cafe where you can meet up with friends and play board games or sit down in a corner to read books. I love the fact that they have board games and a corner filled with books which you can read or exchange. Service was friendly and more importantly the tea I got was fresh. It was great quality. There were people there working and some with their friends just catching up. When I am back in TX I am planning on stopping by! Drinks were about $5 for tea which is what I got. They also have indie coffee, I love the fact that they sell the coffee beans as well.

The baked goods look amazing and I wish I had tried some because my honey lavender latte was not good in my opinion. An iced lavender latte is almost always my go-to order but this was the worst I've ever had unfortunately.. I'm not sure what went wrong with it. The service was incredibly friendly.

Loved the vibe of this coffee shop. Came here Sunday morning before heading out of town. Friendly staff. Gave a great recommendation for the pumpkin loaf, which was absolutely delicious! Ordered a latte, extra hot, but it wasn’t. It was warm at best. Tasty, but kind of disappointing in that sense. Comfortable seating and very clean restroom.
