Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My husband and I LOVE Sabor for a burrito! The three amigos burrito was the first burrito my husband would ever actually eat. It’s a perfect date night option in Kannapolis followed by Kingpin bowling or ice cream at My Sisters Place. The queso is top tier, chips are always warm and fresh, and the salsa options are flavorful and provide variety.

Tonight we arrived at this location at 8:45 we were greeted with “we close in 10 mins and we only have grilled chicken and ground beef left. “ We said ok and proceeded to order. I ordered a burrito with the grilled chicken and a margarita and my wife 5 ordered chicken tacos. We brought 3 other friends with us who also ordered. My wife asked for mild salsa and was told They had no more. My margarita was great and my friends mojito was also good. Then we finally got our food all packaged Togo even though we wanted to eat there because it was 30 degrees outside and no where else to eat. We started eating our food and exactly at 9pm the music was turned up extremely loud a the employees turned the lights down to where we could barely see. The girl mopping the floors dropped 3 chairs on the ground which was very loud and kept laughing then looked at us, every time so it felt like it was on purpose, so we decided to leave because we didnt feel welcome from the beginning and after the music and lights. I ate 1/3 of my Burrito and am now finishing it at home cold. We spent at least $75 between the 5 of us at 8:45 and felt disrespected by the staff because we came in at 8:45. Additionally my Burrito which was to have queso, lettuce, Pico de gallo, rice, beans and meat only included rice Beans and meat none of the other items and was extremely dry.

One of our go-to spots in Kannapolis! Always clean, the food is always delicious, and the staff is always friendly. A great spot for couples or families.
