Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

First time here and it is in the running to be my new favorite Indian restaurant in the Kansas City area. Walking in here it had a familiarity of being in any restaurant serving American Classics and I was okay with it. Not over done like other places, letting their food, not the decor do the talking. There was more than enough food to take home when we added an appetizer and naan bread.

Delicious food for the whole family. We just stopped here on the way home from the airport. It was our first time. We had 8 of us parents and 6 kids. We had chicken korma, tikka masala, butter, coconut, saag, and tandoori grill with garlic naan. It was awesome!!!! We will be back. The kids devoured it. We loved it. Very reasonable prices as well.

I was in the mood for Indian and this place was close. The menu was dirty so that was a slight turn off at first but the butter masala was very tasty. I asked for medium heat and it was perfect. I could not eat it all and took it to my hotel for later. They had some good beer options so I went with the Taj Mahal beer. I would come back again if I was in the area.
