Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I have been to Saigon Table twice. Once with the whole family. We all enjoyed it and they are very safe for people with Celiac. That night I met the owner Lynn N Lee. She talked about wanting to bring high quality Vietnamese food to this side of Westchester. Everything is made from scratch, including a beef broth slowly made from Pat Lafrieda bones. Her sauces are unique and delicious. My husband loved his Pho. The kids had delicious chicken and beef skewers and some rice noodles. She uses GF soy sauce and a great GF fish sauce as well. I returned last night with a friend whose husband is a chef and she also loved it. I recommended the chicken soup because I had once picked it up for my mom and was blown away by the layered depth of flavor of the broth. The place is simple and casual, yet thoughtfully designed. The service is warm and friendly, but be patient as they tend to receive a lot of take out orders and everyone knows that this is sometimes hard to balance. I could eat the beef skewers every day. They are cooked perfectly medium rare and the marinade is insane. From Westchester Foodies on FB

I consider myself a snob when it comes to Vietnamese food. I've experienced it in Paris, Manhattan, and Vietnam. Saigon Table serves truly authentic food, using high quality ingredients. I tried the tamarind pork ribs which were pull-off-the-bone delicious. Not too sweet and perfectly marinated and grilled fresh (they don't reheat or microwave here). The chicken skewers were amazing on white rice. And the Vietnamese beef stew was tender in a home made broth made from real bones for several hours. Be sure to ask for their home made spicy sauce for a little kick. Lynn, the owner, is a delight who remembers the names of her regulars. Although I don't live in the neighborhood, this restaurant very well may become a destination restaurant for me.

Excellent service, friendly face and was seated immediately. Waitress asked what we wanted to drink and brought them in a timely manner. When ordering we needed more time and were unfamiliar with the cuisine, waitress gave excellent advice and suggestions. I got the pho bo which was incredible, flavorful, and not too heavy at all, great portion for price. My friend got the ribs which were so soft they fell off the bone. We got a complimentary cow spine that was so soft, had strong beefy flavor and fell right off the bone. Overall amazing experience, food is reasonably priced, portions are great, and quality of food is simply unbeatable.
