Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Great time here today with my family. The sushi is fresh and prepared wonderfully. Staff is friendly, warm, and inviting. The inside is clean and very neat as well. I loved our waitress!

I hate writing bad reviews, but they messed up my to-go order twice. The first time I let it go and didn't call. The second time when I got home and realized they made the same mistake (gave me pork eggrolls when I ordered springrolls. I haven't eaten pork in over 20 years) and they left out the yum yum sauce which is essential for hibachi. I barely ate the food because it's not the same without the sauce. I was home and tired so I called. The lady was kind and apologized. She said they would redo my order. I told the lady I'd have to come back later in the week. She said that was fine and took my information. When I called back they did not honor their word. That is highly disappointing. I'll never patronize this place again. *Response to your response: You are not acting in good faith. When I called back I spoke to the woman I initially talked to. She then said she made a mistake when we spoke, and she could no longer redo the meal. *She initially attempted to rectify an error on the restaurant's behalf, but was being told she could not do that. I asked to speak to a manager and then spoke to a man who admitted he had no idea what was going on. That man had no idea what had transpired but was telling me what could not be done. In addition, that person was not on the initial call with the young lady and me. Yet now the restaurant is so confidently stating what was not promised to me. How would you know? You're trying to save face, and that is what's most important to you. As I stated initially, you all have given me pork before, but I let it go. My money was wasted, and I didn't get full. But I understood that mistakes happen. You did it again though, and that's why I called. And do you know how strange you sound offering me some free yum yum sauce? That will make an amazing dinner. SMH. Instead of lying, or taking accountability for mishandling my order, just let it go. This is my experience with your establishment, and I will not be going back for the sauce meal you're offering or anything else. The End.

What a great little Japanese restaurant! The owners and staff take good care of us each time we come. The chef makes beautiful sushi and it tastes as good as it looks! The sushi to rice ratio is perfect. I love the sushi and sashimi - very fresh! My daughter loves the spicy tuna maki off the Basics Rolls, the Super Crunchy Roll off the Special Rolls, the Crab Salad and and boba teas. I have also had the tempura which is golden, crispy and light. There is alot to the menu so take your time and look through it to find something to your taste. You can also find something new to try, you won’t go wrong! I worked at a Japanese restaurant in Atlanta for eleven years and this is my go to place here in Gadsden. Adding pictures of the Hamachi Yellowtail Appetizer and the Out of Control Roll which we tried today. They were both great!! 🥰
