Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Vegan options!! The sweet potato roll was AMAZING!!! I've never had it before. I did not expect the crunch! I always get avocado and cucumber rolls (which were great too). 10 out of 10, highly recommend! My God children loved it too. The staff were so kind and so accommodating and the atmosphere is nice as well. We will be back soon because it's all we think about:)

2/28/26 I was very excited to take me and my kids to go for our usual all you can eat sushi date. I decided that we should go to the Sakura location in Chesapeake instead of our usual Sakura in Va beach. Despite how much I love their sushi and how close it is to where I live I thought taking a little drive would be fun and I thought my favorite waiter who used to work at O'Yummy would be there. Sadly he was not but it kept going down from there. The greeting from the host was not the best, his energy was off. He also decides to sit me and my kids next to people who are of my community. I didn't think anything of it until he did the same thing with this one man who came before we were about to leave. I noticed the whole time he would just keep looking at us making me uncomfortable. The sushi was subpar by best the Volcano and RockNRoll was hard to digest and the edamame looked old and dry. Paid over fifty dollars, and my experience was not one for my books. It will be my last time returning to this establishment.

My wife has never left a restaurant so happy in her life. We just moved here and decided to try this place out for lunch. We had great service and when asking questions about the menu they were all answered and we got to try a lot of the menu. The owner let us try some smoothies, we had some green tea ice cream. We left the place extremely stuffed and satisfied. The wife wants to come back every Saturday now. Beautiful set up, yummy food, and great service.
