My son had heard good things about Sampa from a friend and asked to try it. We visited Sampa last weekend with a 5 person family and the experience far surpassed our expectations. The service was warm and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and a great value when considering the generous portion size, quality ingredients, and amazing flavors. The Fejoada was super flavorful and the sides of white rice, collard greens, orange, and farofa complimented and enhanced the Fejoada. The Picanha steak was juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor; a must try dish. The cheeseburgers with added crispy bacon and extra crispy fries were a hit with our 10 year old diners. The chicken Caesar salad was tasty too. The food was nourishing and filling; next time we want to try some of smoothies and/or good looking desserts. We look forward to eating at Samoa again soon!

I found this gem on my bike ride down Soquel Ave toward Santa Cruz from Capitola. I was really in the mood for an Acai bowl, and they had a great one! They also serve killer Brazilian coffee that they import. It was smooth and definitely worth trying. The menu looked amazing, so I'll be returning for dinner next time.

Great place! It has a nice cozy vibe with friendly service. My wife had the crispy maitacos tacos that she absolutely loved, especially the avocado sauce that came with it. My daughter had the Carne Louza which was nice and I had the Feijada, which was delicious. There were so many other interesting sounding dishes on the menu that I will definitely come back to try some.
