Crisp, fresh oysters, housemade ricotta, perfectly cooked pasta. We loved the salty / sweet combination of the capers and dates with roasted cauliflower. The Tahiti sauce with the cauliflower added the perfect umami balance. The meatballs and red sauce have to be a handed down family recipe, so satisfying. Love the casual family vibe with delicious food. What more could you ask for?

My husband and I came into the restaurant yesterday afternoon for lunch. When we arrived, we waited for a while before we were greeted. Once seated we were given our menus and an opportunity to order. We ordered a Ceasars salad, vodka chicken Parmesan sandwich, a sprite, and a spicy Italian sandwich. During the time we waited for the food to come out the staff was arguing quite a bit about a review that was put in. The owner Marcus seemed to be handling things very well but there was a waitress who was throwing a bit of a tempertantrum about the whole thing. She was on her cell phone during our entire visit and constantly leaving the building. At one point she left and slammed the door. Mind you this is a small establishment so all of the customer could hear and see what was going on. I am unsure of name but she was an older woman with black hair tied back in a bun. It took roughly 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The salad was small for an $11.00 charge but tasted great. The chicken Parmesan was very bland but wasn't terrible. On the other hand the Spicy Italian sandwich was amazing! I definitely recommend getting that one. The bread on both sandwiches were a bit hard and crispy though so our mouths are a little cut up from it. While we were eating the food, a gentlemen came in asking if there were any Togo menus. The lady I previously mention rolled her eyes and said no and went right back to her cell phone like it was an inconvenience she had to do something other then play on her phone. The man was a taken back by this said "okay thanks" and started to leave. A male employee stopped him and was very kind saying he was more then welcome to take a photo of the menu if he would like to(I'm proud to see some people still have customer service etiquette). At this point we had to remind our server we ordered a sprite and we would really like to get it. When it was time to pay our server brought our bill to us and we used our card to pay. She came back to collect it and stopped halfway to run our card to take an order at another table. She placed our card on another guests table and walked away! Our card could have been taken by the other table! Thankfully it was not and she ended up grabbing it back up to run the card(please do not leave another customers payment method with other guests from the restaurant!!). We still left a tip for the server. As much as we were excited to try this new place, I dont think we will be going back to dine in. If anything we may order Togo.
