Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I had a great experience here! The restaurant offers a really good variety of food, so there’s something for everyone. If you’re planning to order wings, I highly recommend trying the Memphis dry rub — they were incredibly tasty and perfectly seasoned. The location couldn’t be better, right in downtown old St. Charles, which adds to the charm of the visit. Service was friendly and efficient, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touch in the bathroom — they even provide extra last-minute supplemental toiletries! Overall, a wonderful spot that I’d definitely come back to.

A little disappointed in our first experience here. They brought the wrong drink to start with. My husband ordered a coffee with kalua...not difficult. They brought coffee with maybe whiskey. They corrected it and apologized. We got the Brussels for an appetizer. They were drenched in oil from the deep fryer. I got the scallops over the plantains. The scallops weren't fresh snd were fishy. The ancho chili sauce on tip paired well with the plantains but clashed with the scallops. Missed the mark. Now if they made a version of potatoes bravas with plantains and that sauce, it would be a hit. The scallops...not so much. Finally, we got the pot roast flatbread. The flatbread needed to be cooked a few more minutes (at least) and wasn't crispy. Lots of melty cheese on top, but it really lacked flavor. It needed some fresh herbs on top like thyme and rosemary or maybe some carmelized onions. Overall, with all 3 dishes missing the mark, we'd go somewhere else next time or revisit some favorites. The service was just okay. Our waitress was friendly but just seemed to be going through the motions.

Wings were very tasty. Would definitely recommend them. But sadly, the other Food was boring. With the wings we also ordered the Mozzarella sticks and a Cobb salad. The mozzarella sticks were hot but No cheese pull and the taste was just ok. Nothing special or great like the menu suggests. My Cobb salad was sad. It just had a ton of mixed greens, sliced warm chicken, half an egg, two little slices of avocado( I think) and a little scoop of diced tomatoes. I immediately took the warm chicken off as I prefer cold on a salad. It also had a spring mix that just was too much. it needed to be mixed with iceberg, Romain, or something. Mine had no bacon (the pictures show bacon on the Cobb salad, in another review picture on Google.) also No cheese on the salad. I wonder if they forgot the cheese? I almost didn't post the picture since I accidentally stirred it before remembering to take the picture. But the visual didn't change much. It was just the tomatoes that fell to the bottom so I decided to post it. I barely even remember the avocado, was it even there? I would not recommend the dressing that it comes with. It's some kind of vinaigrette that was very boring. The menu doesn't say what's in the Cobb salad so maybe they change it up with what they have available? The menu just says a Cobb salad with vinaigrette. Their ranch is actually really good so that may help to change the dressing. To improve the Cobb salad and make it the best ever, I would switch up the lettuce a bit and have the wait staff ask the customer to make choices with it. Also, I think asking these questions will help since the menu doesn't mention anything about what's actually in the Cobb salad. -what kind of dressing would you like with your Cobb salad? It comes with the vinaigrette, but a lot of people like our ranch as well. -do you have a preference on cheese? we have blue cheese and cheddar. (not sure they actually have these, but it's a recommendation on my part.) - is warm chicken ok or do you prefer cold? -it also comes with bacon, egg and avocado. Are those OK for you? I know this is a lot to type for just a salad, but I'm a salad girl and that would've made me extremely happy to have all those things mentioned and/or offered.
