Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

New review: It devastates me to have to retract most of my review… All of our favourite rolls went up heavily in price. The California Rolls alone went up by $4.50. Since this is upsetting and we’re no longer going to eat here anyways, I can say the staff lacks personality. No smiles, not very welcoming, the sushi is still good (at least I hope…), but absolutely not worth the price anymore. Original review: Our favourite sushi place by far! Perfect size rolls, great taste, great price for good ingredients. I love that they use real crab, and you can see them making the sushi at register area!

Great price! Delicious food! Great staff! Nicely decorated too. We had the mango sushi roll, one of the noodle dishes and the unagi rice bowl. It was filling!

We had a late lunch around 2pm here on a Saturday after fishing near Hagg lake. We had a party of 9 and had a party room available that could fit us all together at one table. We appreciated being able to be seated together. They do charge a tip/service charge of 18% to use the room. We tried the chicken teriyaki don, katsu don, beef don, and salmon teriyaki don, oyakodon, as well as a salmon avocado roll. Everything was presented nicely and tasty. The dons included a small dish of soy based green beans. The one drawback was the kitchen was a little on the slow side, perhaps due to the time (2pm) we were being served.
