This vegan-friendly restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, but one thing is clear: their commitment to plant-based cuisine is unwavering. Reviewers rave about the expansive menu, which offers a wide range of options from all-day breakfast to savory lunch and dinner dishes. Specifically, the vegan sushi has been praised, with one reviewer calling it the "best vegan sushi" they've ever had, and recommending the eel roll and volcano roll. While the menu is a major draw, some reviewers have noted that not all dishes are created equal, with some room for improvement. Additionally, the atmosphere and location may not be to everyone's taste. To plan your visit, be aware that wait times and reservations may be necessary, and be sure to check the hours of operation to ensure you can visit during your preferred time.

Excerpts

My visit was on November 23rd, 2025, but I forgot to leave a review until now. Genuinely worst sushi i’ve ever had. Felt disrespected when I received a sushi roll that was supposed to be topped with “tempura” (as it says on the menu) but instead came topped with corn flakes cereal… In what world is that okay? I also got the vegan chicken plate which was pictured with different styles of vegan chicken (drumsticks/thigh/etc) but all we got was the drumsticks… Was good but still not worth it. Later updated reply on December 12, 2025 — I forgot to originally leave a review the night it happened, but was telling friends about this place yesterday before deciding to leave the review and call the place. The lady who I spoke to when I called to let them know of our visit there was very nice and agreed she didn’t like the cornflakes either & that she’s let the owner know. I am not from there, traveling through from Texas, but she called my number back to inform me that they were making the switch back to Tempura. I thought that was nice and a good effort to get a customer back, if I lived in the area I would go back for a second chance. Moving the stars to 3 for that display of service + the response of the owner in this review. If you still own this place next time I’m in Cali, I’ll take you up on that entree, haha. Thanks for the good customer service and response.

4/5 just because the wide menu leaves room for improvement on some dishes, but everything on the menu is good. I think this is likely a choice by the owner to attract more customers. I tried a lot of their menu and nothing was bad or lackluster, everything was what I'd expect or better. The atmosphere/location of this place definitely isn't for everyone but if you enjoy a natural community vibe then this is rad. While I was eating there were kids playing and whatnot. I enjoyed it. The staff know their regulars. Linda is the best. The owner clearly cares quite a lot about providing a wide range of options to a demographic that traditionally doesn't have much choice. They also clearly care about providing a satisfying meal and welcome feedback. I'm always asked if there's anything else they can do. Rad place. Go there.

VEGAN SUSHI! The BEST vegan sushi I have ever had in my life. You've gotta try the eel roll and the volcano roll. I don't know how they do it, but it's spot on to real sushi. The menu is 100% vegan, expansive, and offers everything from all-day breakfast to savory lunch and dinner options. Every item we tried (and we tried a LOT) was perfect. Tasted just like non-vegan food. Also their fries were bomb!
