Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Waitress was kind enough to help me put with working the chopsticks. She was attentive and made sure either had everything I could need. Also couldn't rec the deluxe sashimi enough, quality was on another level!

I had a great experience at this buffet with à la carte options. The variety was impressive, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. What I loved most is that you can enjoy the buffet selection while also ordering à la carte dishes, which makes the whole experience feel more personalized and higher quality than a typical buffet. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. And definitely save room for dessert—the crème brûlée was outstanding: perfectly creamy, with a smooth vanilla flavor and that crisp caramelized top that cracks just right. It was honestly one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. Highly recommended if you want great variety, solid quality, and a dessert worth coming back for!

Shan Kishi was one of the only places open on Thanksgiving, and I’m so glad we stopped here. The food came out hot and delicious, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I also loved all the photos on the wall — it gives the place so much character. Great experience from start to finish!
