Regular customer over 20+ years. It's been our family's go to for good dosa. Dined in today but the dosa was kind of tough. Almost too chewy. Makes me think something was off with the batter. Also, I recommend the restaurant start using Amol cheese for any cheese dosas. It tastes more authentic and is actual Indian-made cheese. Using cheddar or mozzarella just makes it taste American and too heavy. Otherwise still a fan of the place. One last suggestion. I hope Shri Balaji and neighboring restaurants advocate to their landlord (during rent increases or renewals) to install EV charging stations in the parking lot. There are already several EVs who come here. I recommend reaching out to local Houston company Pangea Charging if you decide to explore this further. It's a great way to bring in more customers, increase spend, and even create loyalty.

Its an Indian vegetarian restaurant with very affordable prices and food quality was good. Its a self service with minimal staff. Neat and clean with plenty of seating. I ordered Thali and I liked it.

I got Mysore Masala Cheese dosa, I thought it was nice, but my mom didn’t like it. She also didn’t like the chaat combo at all. The food arrived to the table very quickly and the place is neat and nice. Prices are good too.
