Sidewalk Cafe

It was my dad’s birthday and I told him to pick a place that he wanted to go and have some brunch. He said I haven’t been to this place in a while, but I’ve been wanting to go back, so we did. We were greeted with a friendly face, and there was no wait for a table, so we were immediately sat. This is such a cute little homestyle, looking restaurant with pies and desserts that look so delicious! They also had a sign stating that they sell tamales. Which is a good thing to know when you’re just craving some. The place was busy for a mid morning in the middle of the week, including a group of elderly ladies wearing their festive hats and enjoying their girl time! The food came out pretty quickly, and everyone walked out with full bellies and smiles on their faces! There was nothing to complain about here. Our waitress even brought out a slice of delicious lemon pie to celebrate my dad’s birthday. And let me tell you, if you are a person of faith and want to be around someone of the same, you need to ask for Angelina! That girl is bold and courageous about her faith and I absolutely love it! She made the experience of a birthday even more fun! She snapped our family photo stating that it is a company policy to be in the picture 😂♥️ I can’t remember the last time we’ve had so many laughs at a restaurant with our server!!

Food was mediocre. My skillet was wet and flavorless. My eggs were cold and my veggies were still cold and hard.Customer service was ok.

We stayed at the hotel next-door for six days and we ate at the Sidewalk Cafe every day, even though there were many other options around there. Every item we tried was delicious. The service was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. In addition to dining inside, we called in orders and it was ready when we arrived. Highly recommend.
