Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Skippers has always been one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always perfect and every one of the staff are so kind.

During my recent visit to this breakfast establishment, I had an experience that I found quite disappointing. I was looking for a good spot to enjoy breakfast with my family, but unfortunately, the outcome was not what I had hoped for. Upon reviewing the menu, I noticed that the prices were not matching to the total bill. I ended up paying nearly $70 for just three plates of food, which felt unreasonable given the portions served. Additionally, the environment was quite overwhelming due to the presence of extensive political memorabilia and a TV broadcasting FOX News, which detracted from the overall dining experience. The noise level in the small venue was high, making it difficult to have a conversation. Furthermore, the wait time for our food was longer than anticipated, considering we were only ordering breakfast items. I personally ordered French toast, which did not meet my expectations, even though the server had recommended it as their favorite dish. Overall, based on this experience, I would suggest potential diners consider other options for breakfast, as this particular establishment did not provide a satisfactory experience.

This place was fantastic. Stopped here while on vacation from Ft. Worth and would eat here again! My husband said the fried mushrooms were the best ones he'd ever had! And the baked potato was great as well!
