On Saturday, June 14, 2025, I attempted to order food from your Baltimore, Maryland location. I was driving from a town one hour away and as I was approaching Baltimore, I logged into Uber Eats (UE) to place my order. The UE app stated that the order would take 13-20 minutes to prepare so I intentionally waited until I was 20 minutes away to place my order. As I approached the store, the app stated that my order was likely ready. Upon entering the restaurant, I observed one lowly employee working at the register and one food order bagged behind him. I stated my name and that I was there to pick up an order. The employee checked the bag and when he realized that it was not my order, he proceeded to tell me that my order had not been made yet because there was no bacon for it. I started that they could have informed me of that, but that in the time being, I could take the order without the bacon. He then stayed that my order had not been made yet because there was only one person working in the back. As I stood there processing his words, I asked how long it would take to get any order, as I was late for a party, and he stated it would take 20-30 additional minutes. Knowing that I did not have the time to wait, I asked him to cancel my order. He stated that he needed a manager to enter their PIN to cancel the order and since none was there, he could not cancel it. Using the UE app, I canceled it on my end and left. The following morning I received an email from UE stating that I was charged for the order. I have been unsuccessful in trying to get a refund from UE, as SluttyVegan had already "prepared" the order... which had not actually happened. At that point, I was (and still am) severely disappointed and disgusted by the lack of professional and adequate staffing at the Baltimore location, the poor communication by SluttyVegan Baltimore in my attempts to share this verbally, and the fact that I had to go through this entire process. I do not live in Baltimore. As someone who wanted to enjoy a Vegan food experience which I rarely get in the county where I live, this has left a sour taste in my mouth for your entire establishment. Not only am I still requesting a full refund- not gift card or credit- for the $23.09, but I would also like a vocal and sincere apology from a manager because this is beyond ridiculous. UPDATE!!!!! On January 17, 2026, General Manager, Edwin Thomas, reached out to me here to express his apologies for the service that I received back in June. Not only did he respond here, but he also called and emailed me on January 18th. Upon his sincere request, I did drive back down to Baltimore to visit this location. The service was 1000% better! Edwin and his team Great care of me and I'm grateful for the second chance to make a first impression. As a result of the phenomenal service, I have updated my rating to all 5s. First time here, I've heard so much about SluttyVegan and wanted to try it out. located in the Baltimore Peninsula a nice upcoming area. Decided to order takeout online process simple and easy. Didn't realize though that the order was going to be so Quick!! 3 burgers 15mins wow. It took me a little longer to arrive, and this could account for the Burgers being a little soggy. I wish I had the option to select my pickup time because I couldnt get there that soon. You are greeted by very energetic host/ server once you walk in, he kept to the theme of the place and didnt miss a beat. The burgers of choice were the Sloppy Toppy, Big Dawg, and 1 Night Stand. All taste like the meat it represented which was good. I will have try again in hopes that the food presentation will be better because it was good!!. So if your in the area try them out!

The workers at this establishment are just not customer service friendly at all. In the back cooking area on their cell phones and a girl took her Stanley cup and filled it up at the fountain drinks and her straw was dripping in the ice. The burger buns were crumbling apart and seemed old and not fresh. The” meat” patty never tastes seasoned. The chili that they gave us was unreal! It was hard, not even filling the cup up at all and it was literally burnt, bottom of the pan, literally looking like jail food! I still can’t believe the girl thought that was ok to even serve to somebody! I don’t think it’s worth the hype, especially in Baltimore. I would never feel comfortable eating here again. After driving 30 mins there and 30 mins back to take them that disgusting chili back, I will never eat here again. Our people need to do better.
