Absolutely the first time I had time to grab something here. Have been by here many times picking up clients after the Laker Games - really not any close parking by for picking up peeps which makes it hard for me as a professional driver with not much time. Anyway, today, I picked up some chicken tortilla soup to go and it was absolutely amazing 😋 chips and salsa too like wow even the chips and salsa was great too and included... I'm sure their other menu items are even more fantastic just based on my limited experience today. Can't wait until next time. Very friendly staff, gentleman up front reception was great too! Hope I have some time to sit inside next time. Usually rolling with my furbie so can't leave him for too long! Delicious rare filet, and the shrimp tempera stuffed crab wraps hit the spot! The pina coladas were delicious as well. This was so good we went two times during our trip.

I usually prefer mom and pops for Mexican food but it was for a birthday celebration, so of course I had to attend :). To my surprise the food was really pretty good. Elevated, but still had the original flavors and textures you learn to love about Mexican food. Everything from the chips, bean dip, carnitas and chile Colorado (two of the many dishes on the table I tried) were all really delicious. The salsa is where they fall short in my opinion. That’s what makes the food for me and theirs was timid, probably for the avg American palette :). Even the habanero which cost extra was mid at best. Service was very friendly, but maybe a bit overwhelmed with our large group and Saturday crowd. Not bad by any means, but missed a few things here and there. Still really good experience and one of the few elevated Mexican restaurants I’d re-visit.
