Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Oh my goodness, highly recommend if you’re hungry and looking for some REAL COOKIN’!!! I have ordered door dash before and loved it, so I had to go in person and omg the ladies working and cooking were so lovely and the service was fast and the food was phenomenal! I ordered a side of collard greens because I had never tried them and my goodness I will definitely be ordering that anytime I go now! #1 customer, love supporting LOCAL, and Black Owned businesses! #Boss #SOULFOOD #SierraVista

Review: We stopped by for the first time on a whim and ordered the chicken fajitas and the steak nacho fries — both ended up being great choices that made us want to come back for more. Atmosphere: This isn’t a sit-down restaurant — it’s mainly geared toward takeout, though there’s a small area to wait while your food is being prepared. The staff seems small but hardworking. Even while staying busy in the kitchen, they were friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. Menu & Vibe: One of the first things you notice when you walk in are the family photos on the wall, which add a personal and heartfelt touch. Bright decals make it easy to find your way around the menu — staples like fajita rolls and burgers are clearly listed, along with a rotating selection of specials like seafood boils and soul food days. There’s even a kids’ menu marked with cute animal graphics, which is a thoughtful touch for families. Food: The chicken fajitas, described as “egg rolls with soul,” really lived up to the name — flavorful, not too spicy, and full of savory goodness. We’d definitely order them again and are looking forward to trying the stuffed crab next time (they were sold out when we went back, which says a lot about how popular they are). Final Thoughts: This spot is definitely worth checking out if you're into flavorful comfort food with a creative twist. It’s clear the owners care about what they’re doing, and we’re excited to come back and try more from the menu.

Just picked up the catfish, ox tail, and pork chops. Also some sides that included collard greens. The first thing I tried was the collard greens because if they do that good, the rest is expected. They did. They were amazing. All of the dishes tasted great. I have finally found awesome soul food on Sundays! Can't wait to return!
