I love the food here, the omelettes are good. Service is usually good. Younger woman who is pregnant has served us before. But today older woman with blonde/grey ponytail took our order and just dropped off our food….that’s it. She Never checked in on us to make sure food was good or needed refills. I had to ask another employee for a refill and even then it was after we were done with our food. The pregnant server was waddling everywhere around the restaurant tending to her tables. She was really busting her butt. I saw her more than our server for sure. We had to ask her for our check even since we haven’t seen our server. I feel bad for giving a bad tip but if a server takes orders and just drops off the food without checking in and refilling drinks the tip reflects the lack of effort of service. We come for the food for sure

I've been in South Milwaukee almost 2 years & I can't believe I didn't know about this place. I believe it was under a different name before (Griddler's Cafe) but this is a really nice, homey spot. The waiter was truly exceptional, not long of a wait for the food & everything tasted divine. I will truly be going back to this restaurant soon, most definitely.
