Tried the Spitz Gyro with Fried Pita and Hummus. Easily one of the most delicious “street” foods I’ve ever had. Can’t say it’s necessarily better than a more standard gyro/pita+hummus type of meal, as the Spitz style seems to deep fry all the pita bread, even the one on the gyro. Again, super delicious, but hard to compare to the more traditional variant. Ordered online about 3 hours ahead and the food was fresh and ready right when I arrived at the scheduled time. No wait. Location is kind of strange, with shared parking with a bunch of other locations next door. But I guess that’s normal for downtown.

This was my first time eating here. My family has had Spitz back in CLA, and were familiar with this fast food chain. It's Mediterranean food based. They do have outdoor and indoor seating. Their decorations felt modern. Here you order and pay first and sit down. They bring the order to your table if you sit it. I did see people pick up their orders too. My family ordered the Street Cart Fries with your choice of meat. This is their favorite item as it is loaded with meat, chickpeas and other goodies. They also got the Mediterranean wrap which they split between two people. I ordered the vegan wrap with a side of fries. This was too much for me. I ate half and took the rest home. Reheating the leftovers was not as good fresh. I used a toaster oven. Sadly, it was a lot of food I didn't have anyone to share with. I also ordered a red wine. They do have beer and different types of wine as drinks. They had cucumber flavored water which was good. The bathroom was clean. It's only for paying customers and you need to ask for the code. There is a free parking lot, but it is limited. There's a free parking lot not far away.

We were very happy we decided to try this place. Our whole family has celiac disease and we have to eat gluten free. This place offers many safe options for us, taking the appropriate safety measures on a shared kitchen. Food was delicious, and fresh. The service was great, too. Everyone needs to try the sweet potato fries!
