Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This is one of the only hookah places open early in the morning. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals all hours of the day that they are open. This is the first hookah place I’ve seen that offers disposable, to go, hookahs. They have a nice selection of flavors; I tried and would recommended the “cookie” flavor over caviar. Dennis is an excellent cook. I’m not a fan of corn, especially corn on the cob, but I gave his street corn a shot and I’m so glad I did. I finished the entire thing. His sweet and tangy wings are to die for, and I had a few bites of his shrimp salad. Simply delicious. I loved the delivery and decor of the restaurant. Also, desert was fire, red velvet cake…so good. They really have it all here! Our host/server/cook/hookah maker was on point the whole time. He’s a very talented guy with a warm, welcoming, hospitable demeanor and that man is talented in a kitchen, I’ll tell you, he will have you coming back for more lol! I would recommend coming here to anyone from any side of town to give this place a try. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks again for the awesome service and atmosphere at Stratosphere Restaurant & Lounge!

The food at Stratosphere was more than phenomenal! I had the shrimp and grits, and my husband had the grilled salmon and grits—both were incredible. My son also had some amazing wings. The restaurant was spotless, the music was clean, and the whole vibe was extremely family-friendly. And let’s not even talk about the customer service... absolutely top-tier! I love supporting businesses like this. Y’all need to come out and support; you will not be disappointed.

Me and some friends went here Sunday evening. There were two other women there so it wasn’t packed. The older gentleman, I think he’s the one that cooks, greeted us when we walked in. The waiter I think his name was Amir or Amari came to our table high as a kite!! He could barely open keep his eyes open or even look at us. We started asking questions and he made a comment “yall asking a lot of questions hold on” not sure if he was trying to be funny but it wasn’t and if he wasn’t high he could have paid attention. He asked us what we wanted and when we started to tell him he told us hold on he had to go get the portable thing to take our order (which he should have had in the first place) he took our orders and said he would be back with the drinks, only to come back and have to ask what we wanted to drink again. I ordered the lump crab egg rolls which came out burnt so they made me another order on the house. One of my friends ordered the salad which she liked (but you can’t really mess up a salad) and other friend ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls which she liked. The older gentleman stopped by our table to ask how everything was and that’s also the reason this place gets any stars as well. We ordered wings and asked for them to be fried hard. One of my friends had to call the waiter to see if he could check in our food because he was talking to the other table about lying to your partner or something like that. We asked for the wings to be fried hard and they weren’t but my friend jus decided to eat them so we could go. I don’t eat out much because a lot of places don’t have good customer service or understand what it takes to have that. Like I said the egg rolls were good but not good enough to come and sit down and they only give you two. They also don’t serve alcohol but the waiter told us you could go to the liquor store and bring it in. Two stars for food because it didn’t make up for the waiter we had or the service
