Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This place is absolutely amazing! I ordered take out then ended up bringing my family back the following week as the food is literally authentic as can be! The Blackened Garlic Tonkatsu, Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Edamame so far these are all the ones I’ve tried plus the desserts, Sweet Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake and Ube are phenomenal !!! Shout out to Frank & Ben for making my family happy with their awesome hospitality. My grandmother of 95 years old from Hokkaido Japan said that this was the best authentic Ramen she has had in a long time!

Food was amazing we will be back for sure the bao buns were so good! I believe I spoke with the owner he was very kind and so was the woman that took our order she was very nice and had great recommendations! The sate Mignon Boa was our favorite we had to order another to share before leaving. We will be back to try the shakes and come back for another order of the sour cream and onion fries as well.

We decide to give this place a try based on their menu photos and the good reviews. Unfortunately we are darn disappointed. First of all, the service was polite yet not much courteous. Secondly, they offered giving us the hot sauce on the side when we asked if we can have less spicy in the ramen. We agreed. It turns out that they CHARGED $1 EXTRA for the little bit of hot sauce. 3rd, the pork belly bao is so small. I’m sure a bigger guy can eat it in one bite. It was 2 bites for me. And it only has 1 thin slice of meat; unlike what they showed in the menu photo. Ramen was ok. But we much prefer the traditional thicker white bone broth instead of the thin shoyu broth.
