Sunny's Diner Vancouver

Wow! Such a delicious breakfast/sandwich place!! We were able to walk right in since it was Super Bowl Sunday, but otherwise they said they have a 15+ min wait usually on the weekends. The service was excellent. Shannon did a great job. Attentive, efficient, accurate, and friendly! We also love that they honor military with a discount. It was fun that they have tiny ducks hidden everywhere for you to look for while waiting. The food was so yummy! I cannot believe they make all their bread! The fococcia they used for the reuben melt was perfect. It was so deliciously cheesy and the corned beef was thick yummy pieces. The fries were so good it was hard to not eat them all. I also enjoyed a Tequila Sunrise! Our son thought the chicken strips were OK. I tried a bite and agree. My husband loved his bacon and eggs breakfast. They loaded it up with thick cut bacon! I tried a bite of his and think they do a good job on their breakfast items. We took a cinnamon roll home. Those things are huge! Pretty good flavor, but I have had better elsewhere. They have a clean restroom and plenty of tables to accommodate a lot of customers. It's a nice location next to Big Al's and the new food truck station. I can't believe I've never been here. Definitely going back for more fries and to try their club sandwich!

Fresh hot coffee, typical diner food generous portions. Hash browns were hit and miss, mine were crispy and nice while my daughter's were a bit under cooked. Friendly nice service, music was a bit loud but when asked they turned it down which was very nice. The bathrooms could be cleaner. Plenty of parking.

I walked in and it was as bright as the sun ☀️. I was greeted right away by Kat. Kat was cheerful, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the place. She explained how many of the menu items are freshly made on site, which you can definitely taste. I ordered the Ultimate Scramble with eggs and gravy, served with homemade swirl rye bread cut about a half-inch thick…OMG, it was amazing. The portions are huge, so come hungry… or bring friends. 🍳🥖
