Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Visited here for a late lunch with a friend, and had our server Mia order for me. By way of background, I had not been to the Sunshine Factory since they moved from their previous location in New Hope, many years ago, having three really bad experiences - so bad we threw away the free gift cards they gave us. Time for a 4th chance, and they achieved total redemption. I expected to get a big burger, but instead Mia totally surprised me with a delicious order of perfectly spiced teriyaki chicken. My friend ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo that was also very good, along with a perfectly fried side of fries. She also stated the roll that came with the order was 10 out of 10. The only issue I had was the lack of Coke products. The restaurant was comfortable and well appointed, and the bathrooms were very clean, towels and not dryers. I will be returning, and thank you Mia for the nice surprise. Update: Had dinner here Christmas Day 2025 as it was one of the few places open. It was as good as the first visit, except for Pepsi instead of coke. The steak the server ordered for me was perfect.

Overall, we really enjoyed this place. We had the onion rings as an appetizer. The order was massive and had it at happy hour rate. Definitely worth it. We also had the French Dip and Southwestern Chicken Wrap. Both were excellent. Service was slow. Our first server, Jen, was nice but not attentive. She rarely stopped by to check on us. We had to waive her down to get drinks and order food. Shift changed partial way through the visit. Lisa was our second server and was more attentive and helpful.

I had dinner here for a work outing and had a great time! The ribs were absolutely phenomenal the barbecue sauce was very tangy and sweet and their fries and coleslaw were also delicious. We got every appetizer and the pot stickers and cream cheese wantons were my favorite.
