Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Found Superior Ramen house today almost on a whim while looking for a place to eat in Superior. Just happened to be in town for the afternoon and we needed to grab lunch. Did a quick Google search for places near me. Superior Ramen popped up and it was the first I’d heard of it (we live in Duluth). Took a look at the menu and of course the Google reviews. My wife and I dined mid week for a late lunch. The place was post lunch rush so we had it to ourselves. Our server was very nice, polite and friendly. We started with the crispy mustard shrimp and the gyoza only because of the great reviews. Both starters did not disappoint. The shrimp were lightly battered and covered in a creamy (not too spicy) mustard sauce topped with fried sweet potato strings. The gyoza were hot and very tasty. We decided to share a spicy miso ramen with pork and a salmon poke bowl. Both entrees were really good. The ramen was hot, the noodles had a great “tooth” and there was a nice assortment of veggies in the broth. The salmon poke bowl was equally good with loads of fresh salmon, mango, avocado and rice. The sauce was really good and what a nice surprise to find some delicious wakame salad in there too. We would highly recommend Superior Ramen to not only the folks in Superior, fellow Duluthians as well. Totally worth the drive across the bridge. To quote Arnold, “I’ll be back”!!!!!

Ok, flavorful steaming hot plastic ramen. Why place quality hot tea and hot ramen in plastic cups/ bowls? The rice can go in ceramic, yet the boiling hot items only had option for plastic at this spot. Toxic plastic soup is what we ate. Please change your dishware…

I ate here for three straight days while on a work trip. I tried the teriyaki, ramen, and curry... all delicious! Chill atmosphere and friendly service! Highly recommended.
