Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Great new place! Sushi Yume has a beautiful ambience, very friendly staff, and truly exquisite food. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. The menu offers a wide selection of sushi, the hot tea was amazing, and the mochi ice cream was the best we’ve had. It’s also a great value for the quality and experience. We highly recommend it for families, date nights, or any occasion. We’ll definitely be returning often!

Had a great dinner here tonight! Very excited to have this restaurant so close. The place is very cute inside and seats a lot! I got the “all you can eat” option because I knew I wanted 2 specialty rolls. The price of each roll À la carte basically puts you at the “all you can eat price” if you order two, so that’s what I did. I ordered the Batavia roll and the forbidden roll. I also got the cucumbers as an appetizer. Delicious! I wish I was a little hungrier so I could have tried more, either another roll or the ramen/udon option. Next time I’ll make sure I have more room in my stomach. My husband ordered the jalapeno salmon fried rice for dinner and he loved it! I took a bite and def agree! Very tasty. I will definitely be back soon! So happy to have this spot in Batavia! Staff was very pleasant too!

Got the all you can eat sushi- was happy with it! You can get other things that are included like stir fry noodle / poke / appetizers. The sushi included was great- able to get nigiri also. They have a fair policy about what you get charged for not eating at the end ($1 / piece). I'd go again, and price is better for lunch on weekdays.
