Delicious food! Loved it! Definitely going back. Amazing soul food.
We tried this little charming place, the waitress and staff were very welcoming & friendly. The whole catfish as well as the catfish filets were delicious, seasoned well, outstanding but, for me, the greens, creamed corn and fried green beans need seasoning. These vegetables are great for older, geriatric customers who prefer bland veggies. The sweet potato casserole, onion rings and homemade apple turnover were ok. There was a stage and the waitress stated live band on Friday and Saturday. This place would be good for older people but I am sorry, don't think we'll return 😕

For the most part, I’d say that Sweetpea’s food was pretty good. I liked that my fish had a decent amount of crisp to it and that it came with tarter sauce. The only thing that I wish that it could have done was include two sides with my sandwich instead of one. But hey, that’s probably because I currently only make $15 an hour. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a last minute brunch place, then I’d say that it’s worth trying Sweetpea’s at least once. And yes, the purple peas are pretty good in case anyone is wondering.
