Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Ive eaten at Taaza several times before and have always enjoyed the food and received good service. Yesterday I invited several friends to join me at the restaurant for the buffet. There were several issues with our experience. We had called and asked if it was possible to watch a soccer game while we ate and were told yes. The person who seated us basically argued about this and we were not able to watch the game on the TV. I asked for Naan bread several times and none was forthcoming, We had two tables set together and half way through the meal, he asked us to move to a single table and also warned us that if we stayed too long we would be asked to leave. I was hugely embarrassed by the service and will not be inviting friends to visit again.

Ordered bhuna gosht and chicken tikka masala. The goat was 95% bones and what meat I could extract was like leather. The chicken tikka masala was weirdly sweet, and the chicken was very tough. The cilantro mint chutney tasted of garlic. Vegetable samosa were ok, naan was average at best. Overall: disappointing.
