Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I didnt have time to eat in so I ordered to pick up. Next time I have to dine in. I ordered the Lamb chops. To my surprise they were the most favorable lamb chops I've ever had. The portion was a nice size enough to share but you might not want to share because they are so good you're going to want to keep it all for yourself. Paired with the fragrant rice, pita, and hummus, this dish was perfect 👌

One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago and owned and run by the family who used to run the kitchen in my Yeshiva when I was growing up. You have to go. Get the shawarma or falafel. So good. They also grill great steaks and lamb chops. Hummus is the best in the city.

I heard about this place, so I decided to give it a go. I ordered a falafel sandwich to go. While I was on the expressway I opened up the sack and took a bite out of the sandwich. I pulled off to the side of the road. It was so delicious I finished the falafel sandwich on the shoulder of the Edens expressway!!
