We wanted something quick and easy with drinks for the adults and food for the boys after a long baseball game and this place looked like it would be great. We walked in and the staff quickly put some tables together for us. The staff was friendly and quick. Our food didn’t take long at all! I wanted to order nachos but went with the cash tacos basket instead. I should have done nachos. The food looked really good to me and everyone else loved their food. I just wasn’t a fan of my order. The fish was different temperatures -some pieces were warm and some were a little cold. Maybe it was bc it was on top of the cold avocado pieces but I don’t think it should have been that much of a difference. Next time, I will either go with nachos or a bowl, which I didn’t realize was an option. Again, everyone else seemed to enjoy their food so maybe I just need to give this place another try. This place was family friendly and had both outside and indoor seats. There is also merchandise to purchase and just a fun atmosphere.

Everybody was so welcoming and attentive, very kind polite I made sure you had everything you needed. The food is phenomenal and they give you enough to make sure you don’t leave their hungry. You only leave wanting to come back for more.

Taco Mama has become the best part of me week! Me and my friend started going on Tuesdays for half price margaritas about a year and a half ago and we rarely ever miss a week. The staff was so sweet and intentional that we ended up becoming friends with a lot of them that we are always so excited to see on Tuesday nights. The owner was one of the first people who always made sure we we're taken care of, and that trickles down to the rest of the staff. I will always rave about the Gardendale Taco Mama!!
