Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

So I'm from Canada and there's not a lot of legit Mexican places in Vancouver BC, let alone the vide variety of options you get as soon as you cross the border to the US. And all the real food trucks! At home food trucks are sparse and you'll pay out your ass for a small portion of food. How to choose where to go to? Follow a local! And he brought me here to his favourite taco place. And when in Rome, have birria tacos. The owner was very friendly and we didn't wait long to get our piping hot and fresh food. There's a nice little heated hut next to the truck for dine-in, which is very nice since it was not a very nice day. My first time having birria tacos and they were so good. Just meat and cheese with a squeeze of lime and a little bit of raw onion and cilantro in the consomé to brighten it up. The consomé had a deep rich flavour that you can tell was simmered for hours. Came with red and green salsa. I would only say I would've liked more salsa because I like a lot of heat. There was also a variety of bottled hot sauces to choose from in the hut.

Recommend the birria / quesabirria tacos. Very flavourful and the tortillas are handmade, so they're on the thicker side. They use the same tortilla for regular tacos too, so it may come as a surprise if you're used to thinner/smaller ones. The lengua is very good and tender, the asada was a bit tough for my liking. The owner is very friendly. There's small outdoor and indoor seating. Would definitely go back!

Stopped by the gas station and ended up trying this food truck even though I wasn't hungry. I was so glad to have stopped by and this truck is going to be a regular stopover for me whenever I drive across the border and going further south. When I reached there, it was already like 5 mins past their closing time but the owner was so nice to accept my order. Tried their Pollo Tacos and it was beyond amazing. Definitely gonna try their burrito, which looks amazing in some other review photos, next time!!! They have a couple of picnic tables and also a shed with seating for about 12-15 people for anyone who wants to dine-in.
