Taj Restaurant is one of those rare places that stays with you long after the meal. The food was rich and comforting, full of authentic flavor and made with care you can actually taste. The chicken tikka masala was beautifully seasoned, the naan came out warm and perfect, the Indian biryani and tandoori chiken were delicious. Even the simplest dishes felt soulful. And they had fresh fried chicken momo...absolutely top tier. The staff was kind, welcoming, and genuine. There’s real heart in this place. Easily one of Killeen’s best dining experiences. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Service was great! The server answered all my questions and gave new amazing recommendations. I had the butter chicken and garlic naan. I was surprised with how little chicken pieces came with the dish was it was still good. It was cozy and nice place. The mango smoothie was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet just perfect

Omg the chicken tikka masala is soooooo good. I ordered that and garlic naan. It came with balsamic rice. Everything was so delicious. It was $21.59. Definitely worth it. This was my first time ordering here. I ordered to-go. I did have to wait a bit and the host explained to me that there was a big order placed. Which I understood. It was lunch time. I waited inside. A/C felt good in this Texas heat. I’ve been living in Killeen for 2 years and I’m bummed I did not come here sooner! I enjoyed this Indian food. I want to be brought here on my birthday or when I’m sad…. 😂 That’s how happy this food made me lol. I definitely will be back again. Chicken portion was good. They gave me a lot of chicken. Came with 4 garlic naans. Everything is well seasoned and flavorful. Food was very warm. I like that you can choose mild or spicy for your palette. I need to lay down right now and take me a good nap!! Thank you for this delicious meal!!! 😋❤️
