It was a Friday night and my friend and I were looking for a place to go get food and drinks. We had not planned for Taj but after our visit we’re making Taj a staple! This restaurant absolutely blew my mind from the ambience to the nice waiters to the amazing tasty food and drinks.. everything was A+++ and to add it’s quiet enough to have conversations. Absolutely loved my experience. Will be a frequent guest 😊

Awesome food and well priced. Best chicken over rice in Stamford that I’ve had. It was really popular when I came for lunch so I recommend placing your order ahead or hope you miss the lunch line. There are 2 doors on the building, one goes here and the other goes upstairs to an Indian restaurant by the same name.

Love the rice bowl with falafel. The taste ranges from sweet, hot and tangy but perfectly balanced. I added little bit of everything in my bowl and for sauces, I chose hot and bbq and it was perfect! Very reasonably priced at $10.72 with tax. It’s over-priced on grubhub. Note: Cautious with the hot sauce! Service - Great Hardly any place to park outside the restaurant.
