Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Our favorite Mexican place closed and we have been on a quest to find a replacement. We have had Taquiza Limon before at parties and from their food truck, but this was our first experience at their restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food was enjoyable. The Loco Burrito is...huge! We also tried the Moscato Mojitos and very much enjoyed the cocktail. It went nicely with dinner and didn't leave us missing margaritas. We will most certainly be back!

Honestly this food is SO GOOD. I usually eat at mexican restaurants with the pre-understanding that I will be disappointed, but this place blew away my expectations. The salsa was actually flavored, the horchata was perfect, and the food tasted delicious and was generous. I admired the interior decoration, really drawing in an authentic atmosphere. We went at 6pm on a Thursday night, and the service was quick and attentive. New favorite place on this side of Mt. Diablo. Nosotros volveremos!

Ate there after it first re-opened. Cute place, good service. Food was just a little bland, but still very good. The jarras for the miche were a nice touch. I ate outside, which was very nice.
