I was traveling from Virginia to North Carolina with my parents, and since they can’t eat anywhere but Indian food, we decided to stop by Taste of India. Even though we arrived just 4 minutes before closing, the staff—especially the ladies—were incredibly kind and helpful. They gladly took our order without any rush or hesitation, which really touched us. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors. Decided to try Taste of India as it was nearby and we were looking for Indian cuisine. For our entree we ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and received rice with the meal. The garlic naan was the standout and was prepared great. The two curry dishes were alright. The chicken itself was tough to chew rather than being tender, despite it being in the curry sauce. Portions were good for the price as well. For the most part, the service was good, and we were checked on from time to time. The only issue was we only received exactly 1 individual napkin each, and when asking for more we once again received only 1 individual napkin despite clearly needing more. Overall, was a solid option for dinner and Indian food.
