Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This Indian place is wonderful. I almost always get chana masala and it is always so well spiced and delicious. The owners are very kind and welcoming. I have been to many Indian restaurants all over the US and this is surprisingly one of the best and I don't say that lightly because I am from Chicago and have eaten in little India for years. I included a picture of my last take out.

Went here for dinner when we visited Staunton. Husband got the karahi lamb and I wanted to try something new so I got the mango lamb. We both chose "hot" (there are 5 levels from mild to very hot, hot is the 4th). We also got two servings of garlic naan. The karahi lamb was lovely, perfect for the garlic naan. I didn't quite like my mango lamb. It was too sweet for my liking and it didn't really have sauce so it wasn't a good naan pairing (unlike the karahi lamb which was very nice with naan).

Really delicious Indian, some of the best I’ve had in a while. The butter chicken was extremely rich and flavorful, same with the chicken korma. Also the price for the portions is very good. I will say, the ‘medium’ was very mild, I would’ve like some more spice. Oh, and they had fennel, which my partner loved!
