Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Taste of Nepal had some solid flavors, but the overall experience fell short due to pacing issues. The chow mein was well seasoned, the shrimp tandoori nicely spiced, and the Jhol momos were decent (though a bit light in flavor and too soupy). Unfortunately, the pacing and attentiveness of service detracted from the meal - it took over 30 minutes for the momos to arrive, dishes came out of order, and no one checked in during the meal. Decent food, but the service left a lot to be desired.

I would like to review with some positive critique. The restaurant is okay. Need to work on a lot of things. They need to work hard to make sure there are not understaffed. The waiter had anxiety issues and was pacing back and forth. He was dealing with 4 tables and 5-6 door dash pickups. There was dirty dishes remaining on 3 tables when we entered the restaurant. I had called in asking if they have specials and they gave me a piece of scribbled letter paper with the menu on it (very unprofessional and the menu had grease all over it). The food came out after 1 whole hour of wait. I had ordered just two dishes. I got my masala chiya essentially when I was about to leave 1.5 hours later. I could hear the people in the kitchen very loudly. They speaking Nepali and I could hear what they were talking about. It was very rushed. I could hear them say “I can’t believe I forgot his tea”. The food itself was okay. The jhol momo jhol was not authentic at all. I thought it would have a til(sesame) tomato broth but they had like a. Ketchup/soy base and it did not taste like jhol momo. The lamb curry was good. The service wasn’t great (understaffed and long wait times), atmosphere was awful (unsanitary as plates from previous customers still left on the tables), food was okay in my opinion. Could be improved. I initially posted a hate review because I was deeply unsatisfied with what I paid for but I want to support a small Nepali business so I decided to give really positive critique on many things that happened that made my experience awful. Please do consider them to get more returning customers to your business. Thanks!

I ordered online Batura and got Naan ( not naan but tasted like naan) , poori is not poori looks like batura and poori midway and ordered paneer pakora its another disaster I expected small piece of them instead got like bread pakora size still I am ok but it just paneer and on the top oil layer of a thin flower . I usually never write reviews, I am very disappointed and I can't avoid to write this. Looks like they or all indian restaurants surviving on one time customers like me ..I am frustrated
