Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Stopped in because it was walking distance from the hotel I was staying at, and so glad I did! The cocktail list is endless, really well priced and if you like whiskey, rye drinks or bourbon this place is a must. The bartender had extensive knowledge of all brown liquor and made suggestions based on what I liked. I also had the bacon wrapped shrimp which were tasty. Will stop in again and try more of their food menu! Ps really great music if you like alternative rock from the 90s as well!

We came on a comedy night. This is my first time here. Apparently you need to come at least an hour or more early for a seat. He doesn't have fold up chairs to accommodate the 3 older woman in heels that's been standing for a 2 hour show and if he does, they were never offered. The acts were good but it's kind of hard to hear them because the speaker needs to be turned down a little. I will NOT be coming back to a place with no hospitality and a drink starting at $15. The host for the comedy night is great and so is the bartender. Kudos to the bartender who started off serving drinks by herself before the other bartender decided to show up.

My dinner date and I came to this unique spot on Sat. 2-19-22 around 9:30. There were 2 patrons at the bar and the other tables of occupants dining. I ordered the Tortellini Soup, and it was REALLY GOOD! I would like to come back to try the jambalaya and a few other items. I also ordered the salted caramel cheesecake. It came out with Original Zap's chips on top of it...with a few pretzels, too. The cheesecake was VERY smooth/creamy tasting and the caramel was great. My dinner date ordered the Charcuterie board. It was tasty!
