Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I was in the area and was scrolling for good black owned food joints and this place popped up. I decided to give them a try because the reviews look promising. The menu is nice with lots of different options . The restaurant is also nice for pictures . I decided to a grab and go. I ordered the tasty breakfast sandwich , I also ordered a salmon filet and told them to slap it on my sandwich . I must say EVERYTHING was delicious and flavorful . My lord , croissant was soft , bacon was crispy , potatoes were well seasoned and the biscuit was fluffy and warm . No questions asked , I will be back .

Friday, December 26, 2025: The moment I walked in, I was greeted right away — and Iesha truly felt like the headliner. Iesha guided me through the drinks with the ease of a seasoned chef, explaining my meal, the possible upgrades, and the timing like we were designing a plate together. The room feels open, intentional, and layered, with smooth R&B humming in the background. On her recommendation, I started with the Paradise Punch — think tropical layers with citrus on the front, a soft sweetness in the middle, and a sunny finish. I also ordered the Creole omelet, it had a bit more egg than I usually prefer, but the squeeze of lemon added a bright, zesty lift, and when Iesha suggested a touch of Cajun sauce, it really perked things up. Visually, there seemed to be more shredded lobster meat than whole shrimp pieces. I would NOT ordered it again. The potatoes fell flat. I thought they would come with sautéed onions, well seasoned. Saturday, December 27, 2025: I actually returned the very next day to explore more of the menu and tried the French toast and chicken. Once the syrup was warmed, the flavor opened up beautifully — cozy, inviting, and just indulgent enough. The toast itself was on the thicker side than I personally prefer, but it still carried the sweetness well. As for the chicken, the flats were absolutely devour-worthy — crispy, seasoned, and gone in minutes. The drummettes, however, didn’t quite compete, so they stayed on the plate. Overall, it was a thoughtful, comfort-forward plate with moments of real delight. Quick note: there’s a small service fee and a built-in 15% gratuity included.
