Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Recently visited Tatva and really enjoyed the food and ambience. Ordered Masala dosa, Vada and podi Idli. It was delicious and authentic, the dosa especially was so crispy (as I had requested). The chutney served with these dishes were the highlight, every single ingredient in everything was fresh and carefully prepared. I also tried the dates dry fruit laddu which was the show stopper. Would definitely recommend to stop here and try out the food.

Disappointing … I ordered chole puri , aloo curry and chai. I am very disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. Chole puri curry was watery with no flavor and the Irani chai was completely tasteless. Moreover I didn’t get aloo curry at all. This was ordered on 6th Oct 2025. I spend $35 on this tasteless food instead I could have bought good veg biryani from other restaurants. It was online order.

Not worth the price. 12 to 15 count for $7.77. Punugulu are not tasting good. Small hard balls Poha vada-small vadas 5 for $7.77. Tirupati has bigger better vadas each for a dollar Update: Went on a Thursday to check the dosa deal. The dosas are miniature. We make bigger dosa on a pan at home. Still acceptable. The girl served ICE COLD sambhar. When asked that serve it that way her reply was "lot of customers so could not warm it" Another customer heard the conversation and acknowledged that it is ice cold. Same preparation has different name when served with dosa and poori. The masala in dosa is called Koorma when served with poori. There is a ton of salt in it. NEVER EVER AGAIN.
