Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We hear they have an amazing happy hour...we were not there at that time, but after experiencing the menu and seeing the 'deals to be had,' we are confident this is a true statement. Also, the breadth of this menu could not be had in one visit...this will take time, as so many items sound like dishes we would love to try. We came for lunch, dinner is now in order We started with the calamari, tuna wontons, and the seasonal mushroom pate board. Super simple...it all was great. The calamari was light and crisp, with the welcomed bites of fried banana peppers. The ahi tuna wontons were large and loaded. For a dish that can many times be underwhelming or skimpy, this was refreshing. The seasonal mushroom pate board had both depth of flavor and an appropriate accouterment variety for sure. The only comment is that it could have used more salt or herb base in the mix. We had the fish and chips, the crab cakes, and the crispy chicken sandwich. The fish and chips need to be in the running for the best in the Midwest. Substantial Walleye filets are in a batter that I cannot call either light or heavy. It is ideal...it is airy, yet provides structure. It did not get soggy, but it was not rigged. They nailed it. The chicken sandwich was larger than expected and was ridiculously good. The brioche bun held up to the dressings and the perfectly crisp and juicy chicken breast. The crab cakes were just enough...not too thick, excellent mix, and cooked just right. The sauce did not overpower them and they could be eaten in one sitting. This is a great place for lunch, dinner, or an early supper. We will have to give the happy hour a try sometime, presuming they will have available space.

This restaurant is amazing. It would take many, many visits to exhaust the stimulating menu options. Our party of seven ordered different entrees; each of them was delicious and beautifully presented. The chefs are impressive. And our waitress was excellent. The prices are quite reasonable for the fine quality.

We had a nice Mother's Day dinner and we're able to get in fast to eat at the bar area. The food and the ambiance was very warm and Grace, our server took great care of us. I had the ribeye and the wife at the Short Rib Ravioli. Pretty good! Definitely loved the appetizers as well of Calamari and Croquettes. Very crispy!
