What a disappointment. The pork katsu (in a bento box) was dry and too thin. The shrimp tempura didn’t taste like shrimp. I’m not sure what it was. The gyoza and plum wine were ok. We expected it to taste like Japan. It did not.

Tempura in North Platte is an absolute gem. We came in for a birthday celebration, and everything from the atmosphere to the food made it a memorable experience. The restaurant was warm and welcoming, with fun decorations that made the night feel special right away. The food was the real star. We stopped by here during our road trip and had a wonderful experience. The service and food were excellent. We ordered the yaki noodles and udon, and both were delicious. The sashimi was also very fresh. We’ll definitely be coming back!
