Best hidden gem, very authentic. This has the BEST Red Curry and Pad Thai I’ve ever had! The waiter and waitress are incredibly sweet! It’s really small, I think there’s 9 tables. Prepare to wait and be careful not to miss it.

I’ve come here a couple times for their lunch specials (good deals, just the right amount of food) and nice patio seating in the summer. This time I stopped for dinner in the winter. Warm welcoming dining room with plenty of folks from the community. Low key and friendly. Cream cheese wontons and the drunken noodles were delicious - I ordered 5/5 hot and they were pretty spicy - go 4/5 if you’re unsure . Give this place a try.

#1 Best, most-unique fried rice in Minnesota (green tea leaf fried rice). Seriously. I don't say that lightly. Ignore the usual Thai stuff. Order the Burmese stuff. The tea-leaf fried rice somehow has its own dimension of umami, drawing on the delightful umami in Burmese tea-leaf salad (also well worth ordering from the menu). I had zero idea that fried rice could taste that good. (Please note that both the tea-leaf fried rice & salad likely contains peanuts, because tea-leaf salad usually uses crispy fried legumes to add texture.) I recommend ordering the tea-leaf fried rice with a little bit of spicy. Also, the dumplings were delightful & were served in a very aesthetic bamboo steam-basket. The restaurant is owned by Lisu people, a little-known indigenous people of Burma, Thailand, & China; also, many servers are Burmese, Karen, or Karenni (who are other major indigenous peoples of Burma/Thailand). This provides clues to the potential of this restaurant if only Minnesotans had a taste for the cuisines of Burma & indigenous "hill tribes" of present-day Burma & Thailand 😤. Seriously y'all, you're MISSING OUT if you don't try out the less-common Burmese dishes. The servers have all been helpful & professional too. P.S. Seems like they stopped carrying mohinga & Burmese beef curry 😭 (try asking for it, who knows?). Their beef curry was another favorite of mine. They just added pumpkin curry which is popular with indigenous peoples of Burma & Thailand, especially Karen people, but pumpkin curry hard to find in MN. They still have Burmese samosas & tea-leaf salad. Both of those are delicious.
